With 25 years of experience in government, business and management consulting, Rick Morgan has been a senior advisor to political leaders as well as to corporate leaders in need of strategic government relations, crisis management, media strategy and reputation management advice. He brings to TACTIX his considerable breadth and depth of experience in several key sectors including energy, natural resources, financial services, aerospace and pharmaceutical, as well as in government procurement.
Rick began his career in Ottawa as Executive Assistant to the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney, for whom he also served as Special Advisor and Director of Planning and Operations. After seven years in the PMO, Rick entered the private sector, working as a senior executive with a number of leading Canadian and multi-national firms.
While in the private sector Rick remained politically active, including managing the successful campaign of the Hon. Peter MacKay for the leadership of the PC Party of Canada. Thereafter, he played a leading role in the negotiations to create the new Conservative Party of Canada.
Originally from Montreal, Rick is a fluently bilingual graduate in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and holds a degree in Health Sciences from Collège Brébeuf in Montreal.
