Clarke Cross' experience on Parliament Hill, in government relations and with the news media, combine to provide TACTIX' clients with expert communications and strategic advice.
A native of Calgary, Clarke began his career in Ottawa as legislative assistant to two Conservative Members of Parliament. He left Parliament Hill in 2002 to take up an appointment as Manager, Government Relations for Engineers Canada, the national association of provincial and territorial engineering licensing bodies. Over the span of four years, Clarke spearheaded new initiatives that successfully linked Canada's professional engineering community with policy makers. Clarke was also a broadcast journalist in western Canada and proudly served in Canada's Armed Forces.
Clarke holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Public Administration (MPA) from Montreal's Concordia University, a B.A. from the University of Calgary, and an Applied Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Calgary's Mount Royal College. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Government Relations Institute of Canada.
